Key responsibilities include:

  4. Business Development: Identify growth opportunities, new markets, and strategic partnerships. Develop and execute business development plans to expand the organization’s reach, increase revenue, and drive profitability.
  5. Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, investors, and regulators. Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and other relevant forums.
  6. Operational Excellence: Ensure efficient and effective operations across departments, implementing best practices, streamlining processes, and optimizing resource allocation to maximize productivity and quality.
  7. Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop risk mitigation strategies. Monitor industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive landscape to address challenges and maintain the organization’s competitive advantage proactively.
  8. Performance Measurement and Reporting: Establish performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the organization’s progress towards goals. Regularly report to the board of directors and senior management on performance, challenges, and opportunities.
  9. Ethical and Legal Compliance: Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and ethical standards. Promote a culture of integrity, transparency, and accountability throughout the organization.
  10. Professional Development: Stay updated on industry trends, leadership practices, and relevant knowledge to enhance personal and professional growth. Attend conferences, workshops, and training programs as needed.

Qualifications could include:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business administration, management, or a related field. MBA is preferred.
  • Proven experience in a senior management or executive role, preferably in a similar industry or organization.
  • Strong leadership skills can inspire and motivate teams towards achieving common goals.
  • Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Sound financial acumen and experience in budgeting, financial analysis, and financial management.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive organizational growth, innovate, and adapt to changing market conditions.
  • Strong understanding of business operations, industry dynamics, and regulatory frameworks.
  • High level of integrity, ethics, and professionalism.
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.

  • Within 24 hours of receiving an application, email and text the applicant with the screening questions. 
  • Evaluate the responses and determine who should be referred to you. 
  • Talk to applicants who call direct. 
  • Email you the cv and responses to the screening questions on recommended applicants. 
  • On your instruction, arrange interviews for you and the applicant(s). 
  • Obtain your hiring decision and make the offer to the selected applicant. OR you can do it. 
  • Advise unsuccessful applicants
